Part of the orchid family, the Phalaenopsis orchid plant consists of an arching stalk of delicate, multiple flower heads resembling butterflies. Owing to their elegant minimalism, Phalaenopsis orchids have gained increasing popularity with the design-conscious and discerning customer. These long lasting, flowering plants make an excellent choice for a number of occasions from house-warming presents to thank-you gifts or simply for a smart table decoration.
The orchid is potted in a tank vase, included in the price. Depending on availability from our suppliers, we will deliver a pink or white phalaenopsis.
Care Tips: enjoy a light spot, but no long-term exposure to bright sunlight. Regular, moderate watering ideally using warm water. Provide high humidity, mist often but not on the flower heads. Feed with Orchid fertiliser every 14 days during the flowering season. Cut back stems after flowers fade to just below node which produced the first flower. Given the right conditions phalaenopsis can flower for months on end
